WEEKEND DOSE: "Maniac" Arrives; "Killjoys" Finale; "9-1-1" Premiere

Sadly, Dietland has been canceled after one season at AMC.

HBO has given a third (but final) season to The Deuce. New episodes are expected next year.

Hulu has revealed that it has greenlit a revival of Veronica Mars. All new episodes will premiere in 2019.

The second season of DuckTales will land on Disney Channel on Saturday, October 20th. Season 3 is also expected in 2019.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo on Wednesday, November 7th for the show's ninth season.

CBS All Access will rollout Star Trek: Short Treks in October -- a monthly stand-alone short episode. The teaser trailer is below.

A & E just ordered 150 more episodes of Live PD, so expect to see the show on for many years to come.

Maniac has dropped on Netflix. All 10 episodes are now available to stream. Additionally, The Good Cop has dropped all 10-episodes of its first season.

Tonight is also the Season 4 finale of Killjoys on SyFy Channel. The show has been renewed for a final season.

On Sunday, the first of network fall programming arrives with the premiere of 9-1-1 on FOX after the NFL.

Lastly, the final episodes of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown begin on CNN on Sunday at 9 pm.
