Fall is officially here, but while we wait for network shows to return, Netflix continues to dominate our Binge Report. The coming-of-age series, Atypical, holds the No. 1 slot for the third week in a row with 3.21% of binges, meanwhile everyone’s favorite “Hollywoo” actor, BoJack Horseman, inches closer at No. 2. However, it’s Maniac that has everyone talking this week. Entering the report at No. 6, the miniseries manages to confuse and delight viewers making for a perfect binge. Beloved programs with large catalogues such as Friends (No. 3) and Grey’s Anatomy (No. 4) remain report staples as newer shows with strong fanbases like Brooklyn Nine-Nine (No. 5) and The 100 (No. 8) remind us that they are the new classics.
With the return of several network hits like The Big Bang Theory, This Is Us, and Shondaland’s TGIT lineup, will streaming services take a hit on the Binge Report? Next Tuesday we will tell all!
