A vast array of brand new shows from Disney+ are on their way. The air is still buzzing with excitement following the announcements coming out of D23 Expo 2019. These reveals included a variety of new projects from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a couple of hotly anticipated Star Wars series, and even a Jeff Goldblum show!

20. Marvel’s 616 - TBD
This documentary series is an anthology which will follow the historical, cultural, and societal impact that the real world has had on the world of Marvel comics throughout history.
19. Marvel's Hero Project - TBD
Real-world superheroes take the stage in this show that follows individuals who are making strides in bettering their own communities. This feel-good show will highlight these young heroes as they perform selfless acts and contribute to positive change in the world.
18. Diary of a Female President - TBD
From Gina Rodriguez and Ilana Peña comes a new series following Elena, a 12-year-old Cuban-American middle schooler working her way towards becoming a future president of the United States.
17. Love, Simon - TBD
This popular film is getting its own series, which is great news for LGBT+ representation! This groundbreaking movie got rave reviews, so many are looking forward to see if the show measures up. The show will star two new leads, so it won’t be a direct continuation of the film or the original book.
16. Forky Asks a Question - 11.12.19
The newest member of the Toy Story crew is getting his own series! Forky, our lovable little toy made of trash, is a young soul with a lot of questions about the world and how it works. Each short episode will explore a question from Forky, including: What is time? What is love? What is Cheese?
15. Untitled Cassian Andor series - TBD
This Star Wars story will take place just before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will be returning as rebel spy Cassian Andor for an intense spy thriller series set during the most formative years of the Rebellion. Alan Tudyk will also be reprising his role as the voice of K-2SO.
14. The World According to Jeff Goldblum - 11.12.19
Who wouldn’t want to give Jeff Goldblum his own show? This living legend will explore different topics in depth making connections between science, history, and people. These topics will range from sneakers to ice cream to tattoos.
13. Encore! - 11.12.19
High School Musical isn’t the only musical getting a fresh start. Kristen Bell will host this reality series following former theater students who come together again to recreate their high school theater performance. Musicals will include classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Annie, and The Sound of Music.
12. Untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi Series - TBA
We don’t know much about this series yet, but if you’re a Star Wars fan you’ll be excited to hear that Ewan McGregor is returning to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi! The timeline has been hotly speculated since the announcement and now we’ve learned it should take place eight years after Revenge of the Sith.
11. Monsters At Work - TBA
This upcoming Monsters project is going to be a series set in the same universe as the films. The story follows a young mechanic, Tylor Tuskmon, who aspires to work on the Laugh Floor.
10. Ms. Marvel - TBA
The show will be following Pakastani-American teen, Kamala Khan, and her life in Jersey as she learns to deal with her superpowers. Khan is a fan of comics, and a mega-fan of her hero Carol Danvers, which will make her one of the most relatable heroines on TV at the moment. It will be interesting to see how her stretchy elastic-like powers translate to a live-action screen!
9. Marvel's Moon Knight - TBA
Not everyone will be familiar with Moon Knight at first, but they’ll almost certainly come to love the lesser-known character now that he has his own series. Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector, often considered to be a bit of an anti-hero highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and with multiple alter-egos.
8. Marvel's She-Hulk - TBA
She-Hulk is an iconic Marvel character, so it’s exciting to see her brought into the MCU. This green-hued heroine is a cousin of Bruce Banner’s. After an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, she begins to develop powers of her own. And with great power…
7. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series - 11.12.19
This meta-mockumentary is set at East High, the school where the original films took place. The show follows the students as they debut their first production of “High School Musical” and soon realize there’s just as much drama onstage as off.
6. Marvel's What If ...? - Summer 2021
This animated series will be based on the comics of the same name. The characters will be voiced by the MCU’s live-action cast, which will be a change from other animated Marvel shows. The narrator, voiced by Jeffery Wright, will be a Watcher surveying the multiverse. The show will consist of “what if” alternate reality scenarios within the existing MCU including new stories from Black Panther, Thor, Agent Carter and Ant-Man.
5. Marvel's Hawkeye - Fall 2021
Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in this new series about the iconic archer. The show will follow Clint as he trains Kate Bishop, who later becomes Hawkeye in the comics. It’s probably safe to assume that Kate Bishop will be taking up the mantle of Hawkeye, as Clint is now Ronin following the events of Avengers: Endgame.
4. Marvel's Loki - Spring 2021
The hype is through the roof for this show with Tom Hiddleston returning as our beloved Loki, god of mischief. Loki will be reprising his role as a villain, since the show will feature the version of the character from the original Avengers film. The story follows Loki after he stole the Tesseract and vanished during the events of Endgame.
3. Marvel's WandaVision - Spring 2021
This quirky new show will star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision. It will also introduce Tenoyah Parris as Monica Rambeau, a character who has already been introduced to the MCU as a child in Captain Marvel. The events of the show, written by Jac Schaeffer, will likely tie in to the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel.
2. Marvel's Falcon & Winter Soldier - Fall 2020
The plot follows Bucky Barnes (Sebatian Stan) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) as they team up to fight villains including Helmut Zenmo (Daniel Bruhl). Sam will finally take up Cap’s sheild, something many fans have been waiting for, but he will remain as Falcon in the series. The show will be written by Malcom Spellman and Derek Kolstad.
1. The Mandalorian - 11.12.19
Pedro Pascal stars as the title character in this live-action Star Wars series written and produced by Jon Favreau. The series takes its place in Star Wars lore before the emergence of the First Order and after the fall of the Empire. The show will follow Pascal as a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the control of the New Republic.
