SHOWS ON THE RISE: Netflix Premieres Prosper In October

"Daybreak" is latest Netflix series to earn top placement. Netflix

Netflix conquers this week as two new series land top placement! Post-apocalyptic dramedy, Daybreak, enters at No. 1 with an astounding rise ratio of 100% while Brazilian crime series, Brotherhood (No. 2), breaks in; taking a close runner-up position. Meanwhile, returning Netflix originals such as: Greenhouse Academy (No. 4), The Kominsky Method (No. 5), and BoJack Horseman (No. 7) make a triumphant comeback to the top 10 following their respective season releases.

October premieres continue to carry weight as Italian reality series, The College (No. 3), wins with a strong Season 4 debut, and Hulu’s Misery-inspired second season of Castle Rock secures No. 6 placement. Additionally, season premieres from Silicon Valley (No. 9) and Will & Grace (No. 10) gain traction as both series near their final chapters.

The first weekend of November brings Season 2 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, a Queer Eye Netflix special, and the launch of Apple TV+! Will the new streaming service take over next week’s top 10? Stay tuned!
