BINGE REPORT: Reality TV Takes Down “Money Heist”

Bingers can't stop watching "Too Hot to Handle." Netflix

Money Heist loses its crown to reality television! Netflix's latest dating competition series, Too Hot to Handle, jumps to the No. 1 position with 2.20% of binge sessions; knocking the Spanish drama down to No. 2 placement. The week's top 10 continues to shake things up as teen mystery, Outer Banks, enters at No. 7, and FOX’s Prison Break (No. 9) sees a resurgence following rumors of another revival.

Meanwhile, NBC sitcoms new and old press on during quarantine. Friends (No. 3), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (No. 4), The Office (No. 6), and Community (No. 8) all remain constants throughout April.

Lots to binge this weekend with Netflix’s Hollywood, Amazon’s Upload, and Trying on Apple TV+. Plus, the return of Ricky and Morty! Will any of these series make their way onto our report? Stay tuned.

DID YOU KNOW? It’s a good year for Netflix reality shows! The most-tracked reality series in TV Time of 2020 (so far) is February’s hit, Love Is Blind, while Too Hot to Handle currently resides at No. 5.

Methodology: *The weekly Binge Report ranks shows with the most binge sessions. A binge session is when four or more episodes of a show are watched and tracked in our TV Time app within a given day.
