Two Netflix originals have battled for several weeks over our coveted No. 1 slot, and this week Sex Education wins the prize. The British teen dramedy steals the first position from last week’s topper Marvel’s The Punisher (No. 2) with 3.53% of binge sessions. However, The Punisher isn’t the only Netflix series taking a hit -- former Lifetime drama, You, falls to No. 4 as Binge Report staple, Friends (No. 3), climbs back into bronze medaling. Sitcoms continue to be a constant force with Brooklyn Nine-Nine moving on up to No. 6 with its latest sixth season, while How I Met Your Mother makes a triumphant return at No. 8 and History’s Vikings (No. 10) also has a resurgence as bingers caught up on the show’s recent finale.
This week brings new streaming series to enjoy with Amazon’s debut of Hanna and Hulu’s upcoming comedy, Pen15. Will they make our report? Stay tuned until next Tuesday!
