BINGE REPORT: Bingers Celebrate “Friends"-Giving

Is this show our "lobster"? NBC

Friends will be there for you when the holidays arrive! The beloved ‘90s series earns No. 1 placement over Thanksgiving week with 2.50% of binge sessions while former Netflix leader, The Crown, falls to No. 3. Sitcoms continue to carry weight as we near the holidays with current NBC shows, Brooklyn Nine-Nine (No. 8) and The Good Place (No. 9) prolonging their report residency while The Big Bang Theory maintains the No. 10 position.

Meanwhile, dark dramedy, The End of the F***ing World, remains the No. 2 placeholder for yet another week while ABC’s Shondaland presses on thanks in part to Grey’s Anatomy’s (No. 4) large catalog and the final season of How to Get Away with Murder (No. 7).

A new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is on the way, plus, Hulu’s release of Reprisal. Find out which series will break into the top 10 next Tuesday!

DID YOU KNOW? Friends dominated last year’s holiday season! For four consecutive weeks in November/December, the sitcom favorite held the No. 1 slot. Will it be able to stay on top during 2019’s end? Only time will tell...

Methodology: *The weekly Binge Report ranks shows with the most binge sessions. A binge session is when four or more episodes of a show are watched and tracked in our TV Time app within a given day.

Note: The network displayed is the network where the show first aired (e.g. “Friends” on NBC).
