The 20 Most-Binged "Retired" Series

We wouldn't get any work done at Dunder Mifflin either. NBC

Every single week a brand new show is released on some streaming platform (if not multiple new shows), but there’s something to be said about always returning back to your old favorites that have already ended. Sure, they might not be on the air anymore but when you need a quick television pick me up of an episode or two — or even a whole season — they’re the ones you’ve got in your queue for constant binging.

Also, there’s something great to be said about watching a show that’s already off the air: You don’t have to wait around for new episodes because they’re already all at your disposal!

If you’re wondering where your favorite old TV show falls on the list, we’ve got a lost of the top 20 series that TV Time users just can’t get enough of. And while we know for certain that some of these shows will leave one streaming platform to head to another (looking at you, The Office), we're willing to subscribe to whatever service they call home. Who wants to live in a world where you can't just turn on Pam and Jim's at any time of the day?

20. Seinfeld

For a show that’s supposed to be about nothing, Seinfield has kept us entertained for over 30 years now.

18. Teen Wolf

Scott and Stiles will always be two of the best friends on television.

17. Naruto

15. Community

We already have six seasons of this show, and we’re just one Community movie away from the long-running joke coming true.

14. Smallville

Go back to the early days of Superman when he was just a teenager in high school.

13. Dexter

If you don’t think about the polarizing series finale, re-binging Dexter sounds totally worthwhile.

12. Gilmore Girls

Wherever Gilmore Girls leads we will follow without a second of hesitation.

11. How I Met Your Mother

Ted’s story about finding love in New York City takes many surprising turns, with even more long-running jokes through the series.

10. Gossip Girl

If you’re still unsatisfied with the big Gossip Girl reveal, don’t worry, because the show is being rebooted.

9. Bones

Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz made for one of the best personal and professional duos on TV.

8. That ‘70s Show

Eric Foreman’s basement will always be the best basement in television history.

7. The Originals

A spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, the show follows the Mikaelson siblings in New Orleans.

6. Pretty Little Liars

5. Parks and Recreation

Pawnee will always be the little town that could, and if only it were real because we’d all move there tomorrow.

4. New Girl

We might never learn the real rules for True American, but that’s not going to stop us from rewatching the series again and again.

3. The Vampire Diaries

For a small-town Virginia, Mystic Falls had its fair share of vampires and witches that later spawned multiple spin-offs.

2. Friends

The One Where We Can’t Stop Watching Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Joey.

1. The Office

Somehow Michael Scott managed to become the world’s best boss in Scranton and also our hearts.
