TGIT Continues! ABC Announces Shondaland Renewals and Cancelations

We see more Mer in your future... ABC

Big news in Shondaland! ABC announced that Grey's Anatomy will be officially getting a two-season pickup! This will take the medical drama through its 17th season with Ellen Pompeo set to continue her role as "Meredith Grey." Meanwhile, firefighting spin-off series, Station 19, also got picked up for a third season. Grey's showrunner, Krista Vernoff, has signed on to serve both Seattle-based shows, and has promised to give "two hours of feels on Thursdays" with even more crossover!

Continuing with the good news -- How to Get Away With Murder has received a sixth season! After Season 5 ending with yet another twist, fans of HTGAWM will be relieved to know that more episodes are on the way. The upcoming season could be the series last according to showrunner, Pete Nowalk, so let's enjoy our time with Annalise Keating while we can!

Lastly and unfortunately, legal drama, For the People, has been canceled after two seasons.
