SHOWS ON THE RISE: "Space Force" Soars

Steve Carell serves as co-creator and star in "Space Force." Netflix

Netflix’s latest series, Space Force, enters at No. 1. The Greg Daniels/Steve Carell comedy takes the top position with a rise ratio of 99.9% as more recent May releases climb the ranks. Other Netflix series, History 101 and Control Z, earn placement at No. 4 and No. 6, respectively, while TNT’s Snowpiercer (No. 2) and Season 2 of Homecoming (No. 8) remain in the top 10 for a second week in a row.

Meanwhile, 2020 series, Ragnarok (No. 2) and Little Fires Everywhere (No. 7), see a resurgence over the Memorial Day week and The CW’s Dynasty (No. 5) continues to thrive following its Season 3 global Netflix release.

The series finale of 13 Reasons Why, HBO’s I May Destroy You, and Dirty John’s latest season, “The Betty Broderick Story,” all premiere this week. Will they make the top 10? Stay tuned.
