Disney's new streaming platform revealed the first trailer for debut (and arguably flagship) series The Mandalorian on Saturday at the D23 Expo. In it, we see some key hallmarks and easter eggs from the Star Wars franchise from which the show hails. The Mandalorian has been described as the following -- "After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. 'The Mandalorian' is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic." The show will drop on November 12th and stars Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano and Giancarlo Esposito, as well as Nick Nolte, Esposito and Ming-Na Wen. Episodes will be released on a weekly basis and the first season will consist of 8.
