Jadis is the leader of the Scavengers on The Walking Dead, but one group of fans is theorizing that she could be the leader of a very different group.

According to one theory floating around the Internet, Jadis, played by Pollyanna McIntosh on the series, is actually also the leader of the deadly Whisperers. We know that Jadis and her crew have successfully survived the apocalypse after taking over a junkyard, but we also know that Jadis herself isn’t the warmest of people—and she was ready to team up with Negan and the Saviors in the final episode of Season Seven.
In the comics, the Whisperers are a group who camouflage themselves with walker skin and make it a point not to harm the walkers, and are the next major enemies for Rick, following his battle with Negan and the Saviors.

And a Hollywood Reporter article posited that Jadis could be affiliated with the deadly group. “I don't know anything at all. All I heard is fan rumors,” McIntosh told THR back in February.
The actress similarly brushed off the rumors when speaking recently to ComicBook.com. “I think, you know, in a very diplomatic, politician type of way, I can say I think anything is possible in this universe we’re inhabiting right now, and that’s one of the really strong points of the show because I’m not going to tell you anything,” she said.
