20 New Network Shows We Can't Wait To Watch

Summer TV may just be getting into session, but we're already looking ahead to Fall TV. You know why? No matter how amazing any other TV season may be, Fall TV will always reign supreme, just because of the sheer number of new shows that come our way!

And looking at this upcoming Fall TV season, we're in for some amazing new shows. To help narrow down which ones to keep your eye on, we're counting down the top 20 new network shows that TV Time users can't wait to see. So scroll through the list to see the most anticipated new fall shows!

20. Bob Hearts Abishola - CBS

Chuck Lorre's new series is about Bob, a middle-aged compression sock businessman from Detroit, who unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse while recovering from a heart attack and sets his sights on winning her over. Undaunted by Abishola's lack of initial interest or the vast differences in their backgrounds -- she's originally from Nigeria -- Bob is determined to win Abishola's heart in this comedic examination of immigrant life in America. 

19. neXt - FOX

A propulsive, fact-based thriller grounded in the latest A.I. research, neXt features a brilliant but paranoid former tech CEO who joins a Homeland Cybersecurity Agent and her team to stop the world’s first artificial intelligence crisis: the emergence of a rogue AI with the ability to continuously improve itself. Marrying pulse-pounding action with a layered examination of how technology is invading our lives and transforming us in ways we don’t yet understand, the series also presents us with a villain like we’ve never seen before, one whose greatest weapon against us is ourselves.

18. Bluff City Law - NBC

A character-driven legal drama that follows the lawyers of an elite Memphis law firm that specializes in the most controversial landmark civil rights cases. Led by legendary lawyer Elijah Strait and his brilliant daughter, Sydney Keller, they take on the toughest David-and-Goliath cases while navigating their complicated relationship.

17. Perfect Harmony - NBC

A rural church choir gets the director it never thought it needed when a salty, Ivy League music professor stumbles through their door. 

16. Carol's Second Act - CBS

After raising her two children and retiring from teaching, Carol Chambers embarks on a unique second act: she’s going to become a doctor.

15. The Unicorn - CBS

A widower is eager to move on from the most difficult year of his life, only to realize he’s utterly unprepared to raise his two daughters on his own, and equally unprepared for the dating world where, to his shock, he’s suddenly a hot commodity.

14. Outmatched - FOX

A family comedy about a blue-collar couple in South Jersey trying to get by and raise four kids, three of whom just happen to be certified geniuses.

13. All Rise - CBS

This CBS series follows judges, prosecutors, and public defenders on a Los Angeles courthouse.

12. Filthy Rich - FOX

A Southern Gothic dramedy revolving around two strong, sharp women who will go to any length to protect their loved ones and get their due. When the wealthy CEO of the world’s largest Christian network dies in a plane crash, his wife and adult children are stunned to discover he has grown, illegitimate kids who are also in his will. When the steel azalea matriarch of the family tries to pay them to go away, these newly legitimized heirs have very different ideas and insist on not only staying in town, but becoming part of the family empire.

11. Deputy - FOX

Deputy Bill Hollister is a career lawman who’s very comfortable kicking down doors and utterly lost in a staff meeting. But when the LA County Sheriff drops dead, Bill becomes acting sheriff of Los Angeles County, in charge of 10,000 sworn deputies policing a modern Wild West.

10. mixed-ish - ABC

This spinoff of black-ish follows Bow’s parents Paul and Alicia as they decide to move from a hippie commune to the suburbs to better provide for their family. As her parents struggle with the challenges of their new life, Bow and her siblings navigate a mainstream school in which they’re perceived as neither black nor white. This family’s experiences illuminate the challenges of finding one’s own identity when the rest of the world can’t decide where you belong.

9. Emergence - ABC

A character-driven genre thriller that centers around a sheriff who takes in a young child that she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all.

8. Evil - CBS

A series about the battle between science and religion, Evil focuses on a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

7. Not Just Me - FOX

An only child finds her life turned upside down when her father reveals that, over the course of his prize-winning career as a pioneering fertility doctor, he used his own sperm to conceive upwards of a hundred children, including two new sisters. As these three young women slowly embrace their new reality, they will attempt to form an untraditional bond as sisters, even as they must welcome a tidal wave of new siblings into their rapidly expanding family.

6. FBI: Most Wanted - CBS

CBS' FBI spin-off centers on the Fugitive Task Force of the FBI that tracks and captures the notorious criminals on the FBI's Most Wanted list.

5. Prodigal Son - FOX

Malcolm Bright has a gift. He knows how killers think, how their minds work. Why? His father was one of the worst — a notorious serial killer called “The Surgeon.” That’s why Bright is the best criminal psychologist around; murder is the family business. He will use his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers, all while dealing with a manipulative mother, annoyingly normal sister, a homicidal father still looking to bond with his prodigal son, and his own constantly evolving neuroses. 

4. Stumptown - ABC

Inspired by the graphic novels, Stumptown follows Dex Parios, a strong, assertive, and unapologetically sharp-witted army veteran working as a P.I. in Portland, Oregon. With a complicated personal history and only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own.

3. Nancy Drew - The CW

Set in the summer after her high school graduation, 18-year-old Nancy Drew thought she’d be leaving her hometown for college, but when a family tragedy holds her back another year, she finds herself embroiled in a ghostly murder investigation — and along the way, uncovers secrets that run deeper than she ever imagined.

2. Katy Keene - The CW

A Riverdale spinoff, Katy Keene follows the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — including fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene — as they chase their twenty-something dreams in New York City. This musical dramedy chronicles the origins and struggles of four aspiring artists trying to make it on Broadway, on the runway and in the recording studio.

1. Batwoman - The CW

Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
