The Mikaelson siblings leave the town of “Vampire Diaries”-set Mystic Falls and return to New Orleans where tyrannical alpha vampire Klaus tangles with his old protege Marcel. Klaus drags his unwilling brother, sister, and the young werewolf he has impregnated into the war that consumes the city to disastrous supernatural consequences.
