“Do whatever it is you need to do, I’m behind you. 100%” - Jay Halstead. But I'm not ready to say goodbye to Mouse! 💔😭 With Antonio it doesn't hurt as much since he's moving to another job in the city I'll see him on Justice, but Mouse is going to another country.

I am not okay with Mouse leaving. His intentions are honorable but he already did his tour and paid for it. He best come back...ASAP.

So here it is... Finally, 'A War Zone' was initially supposed to be (S04E03), but due to scheduling conflicts with the S5 premiere of Chicago Fire (since Tay appears in a scene alongside Burgess), this episode was switched with what is now the 3rd episode 'All Cylinders Firing' where Trudy has to make some tough decisions when her old beat linked with her family's past comes back to haunt her. This whole mishap has caused mass confusion amongst fans and has indirectly given out spoilers for the departure of both Tay & Mouse... Will these departures stick? Time will tell, but for NBC to let a 5 second scene on Chicago Fire so deeply effect the narrative and integrity of NBC's finest procedurals is a straight up outrage in my eyes, I know that I've been going on about it for weeks, but hey... This rly pissed me off.

The episode itself is relatively standard procedural wise for CPD. As usual the show attempts to weave the current real life social climate with fiction... Exposing the dark side of the Research Chemical scene as of late... And yes there's a good side to the RC scene as well, but China pushing analogues of dangerous drugs like Fentanyl, FU-FENT, PF, AF, BF, & U-47700 without thinking about the consequences it could have on the drug market in the world as a whole has caused a whole lot of damage, heartache, and unfortunate deaths, and yes, even in your community. These drugs and their ill effects overshadow some positive RC's right now that can be used for good... I'd rather not name them tho (no reason to bring unwanted attention to a good thing), there's been enough of blowing up the RC Spot and misinformation for one night.

CPD knows there's a problem with these drugs but surprisingly they did not do their homework... There is an analogue law that's basically useless (which they did acknowledge), but If there are drug dealers passing off these analogues as other drugs they can and will be prosecuted. I love CPD, but with this rearranging of episodes and drug misinformation being spread I'm incredibly disappointed. Hopefully now that these episodes are finally out of the way, we can get back to airing these episodes in their intended order and of course breaking down some good ol' fashioned police work... And possibly getting Burgess that promotion she so rightfully deserves!
