Questa serie non può finire così.
Non si può aprire il vaso di Pandora (il test della prima bomba atomica) e non raccontare quello che succede dopo.

Fatevi un favore, vedetevi questa serie!

Breathtaking finale to an astonishing season.

I really felt sorry for Fritz. He was the one and only character still untainted (no pun intended) by the events of Los Alamos but, following the loss of his beloved Jeannie and after discovering his best friend had been lying to him the whole time, it was probably the most appropriate ending for him. The first of the (too) many victims of the bombs.
Frank and Meeks, the two people who had changed idea about the bomb, even though for somewhat different reasons and in different ways, ended this story together, trying to atone for their mistakes. Frank was always two or three steps ahead of everyone else. He managed to see through the fog of the war and of the propaganda (almost) since day one and in this second season he tried to make up for the things he had done in the first. Meeks, too, was just trying to "save the world" from itself and he didn't want to hurt anybody but, in the end, he hurt the people closest to him and now he is alone with his guilt. But even after all that happened, I don't "hate" him, because in Manhattan there aren't perfectly good or evil characters, only human beings who sometimes make mistakes, just like in real everyday life.
Liza and Frank, still indissolubly bounded. I believe she is the only one who ever managed to understand Frank or, at least, trust him.
Charlie... well, let's say, given everything that happened to and because of him, he thinks that dropping the bomb and showing the world its sheer power will "erase" the concept of war itself; it will make people so terrified, they won't even think of using it ever again. A really dark turn for him, but it's actually understandable, a bit like Darth Vader, I suppose.

Such awesome characters and wonderful acting. Everybody was fabolous but kudos especially to John Benjamin Hickey, Olivia Williams and Ashley Zukerman.
I really hope WGN will renew this fantastic show. I think we are in dire need of more series like Manhattan.

I LOVED THIS SERIES. I think the storylines and the acting were great all the way through the two seasons! I only wished the ending could have been a bit more satisfying in regards of the main characters' future.. we basically don't get the chance to know what their destiny will be after the test. Maybe one more episode would have given us the chance to dig into that.... bu maybe it's me, I can't get enough of their development!! 😄😊 I will miss Frank and Charlie, hat down to the actors and the whole cast!

Great series indeed. 💖👍👍👍

Tremenda Season Finale. Este año la serie a ido a más, la pena que a la WGNA no le ha ido bien las audiencias. Esperamos con ansias la renovación.

When the explosion happened, the harsh reality of nuclear weapons hit me. Humans can truly be monsters. Psychopaths and narcissists are in power still and it’s a wonder we are still alive.
