Awww... This was really sweet of Riley. After losing his best friend, he definitely needed the company. I mean, look at that smile. Riley really made his day😢😢😢

'Looks like someone ran you two through a copy machine but you came out all Russian & wrinkly.' Riley makes a great point... As it's obvious MacGyver tried to go a little old school tonight with its episode, clearly inspired by past dealings old ('old') Mac had with the KGB... Even casting an old actress from the original show.

I normally praise the chemistry between the two leads, but tonight's episode was just not that engaging. The show kept pushing chemistry but their focus needed to be elsewhere... However it was fun to see them trying something new by borrowing from the past... Gotta respect your origins, right?

MacGyver might be overstepping its boundaries a bit... The best thing this show has going for it is Dalton and Mac's chemistry and the usually nice threading of action of humor. There are just a few things that can make a show, which is already not being taken seriously by most people, pass up acceptable humor & cross the line into awkward cheese... Just ask Haley Atwood and her on screen brother in ABC's new law procedural 'Conviction', where chemistry is forced upon the audience by a brother/sister dance scene that just highlighted the awkwardness of the two on screen. Dalton can be funny, but we don't need any renditions of Salt N' Peppa's 'Push it'. It feels more desperate than anything and there are plenty of things this show needs to work on... The chemistry between the two leads isn't one of them.
