This show has some really bad backdrops and fake locations.
And Please, please find a new actor to play Mac's roommate.

Must be nice to have time to run off to Portugal to stalk your ex-girlfriend between missions of life-threatening peril... But hey, so goes the life of Angus MacGyver. And since his borderline creepy-stalkerish mission comes up empty handed besides a mysterious key and a lookalike body-plant who innocently tells Mac & Jack who hits the trope-note, 'Some girl payed me X-amount of money to come here and look like her, please don't hurt me.' Guys, if anyone who looks just like you offers you $500 bucks to do a stand in somehow, pass... Cause, it could end up getting you killed. Luckily for this chick, it was good ol' boy Mac... And he only kills the really bad guys. Morals, man.

Ring, Ring, the Phoenix Foundation phone of doom is ringing & I just decided there's no way in hell I'm fully recapping this half-assed episode. Basically they have to go to Berlin and save a pretty European damsel in distress turned witness and she's on a train of doom. Why the ppl that want to go to all this trouble to kill her would helicopter down onto a moving train to spread out and kill her in a very public and expensive manner... I don't know... Ask CBS Studios. While your at it also ask them how Riley has a program on her computer that picks up on only the bad guy's heat signatures. Answer? MacGyver, that's why.

Anyway, the show goes back to constantly teasing loving interests for Mac, as the damsel in distress obviously has a thing for big headed nerds with haircuts from 1994. Doesn't everyone? Anyway Mac and crew win, passengers are moved to one end of train, train is separated, Mac & Jack have to stop fast front end of train, they do, everyone wins, Katarina testifies, Mac goes back to staking his ex. If you took away anything from this episode, I hope it was how to make a taser from an electric razor (which btw, beards are in so most men wont have).

So, a few days ago unheard they picked up MacGyver for the whole season.

I really hope this goes well. The actors are okayish, but they do deserve success.
