Finally!! I've waited so long and it didn't disappoint. Visual effects were great and the characters were fantastic. Seth's amazing as always, hope this keeps improving!!

First episode was interesting. I read on various sites, reports by so-called "expert critics" that this would be a comedy series. But the impression I had is that The Orville will try to be more than that. Certainly there are some jokes during the episode, but they are in very intelligent moments. I hope that the series can be firm and we can have a full season.
Happy Arbor Day!

The visuals are quite stunning, I wasn't expecting that at all, and some of the ship designs are very good and memorable, credit where credit is due, props to the SFX team for some great CGI and designs.

Never read the reviews, judge for yourself. As a life long sci fi fan (and writer) I had fun watching this. The chemistry between the leads is believable -- the anti-banana ray showing a glimpse of who they were -- and I loved the navigator, the security lead and the doctor. Engaging cast, amazing visuals, fun script. What's not to like?
