Her attachment gave me SO MUCH anxiety, i feel like she needs therapy. It's not a physical problem for her, it's completely mental. And she's using a future child as an excuse to not get rid of things. If she doesn't treat it properly, it's all coming back soon. You can feel the husband being drained. SIGH

Despite the difficulties, the result was sensational. Honestly, I thought mother would have a nervous breakdown, but in the end she understood Marie's proposal and it gave light to the housekeeping process.

Não consigo me imaginar morando numa casa nessas situações.

I didn't like this episode because it seems to skip important stuff. I kept remembering advices from Marie's books and they didn't mention one on the whole episode. Like, with the Pakistani dresses, she could've kept them and used them inside the house or hang them on a special corner decorated to honour her original culture.
Or with the books, she should thank them for what they taught her and the reason she shouldn't keep them is, they already served their purpose and you don't want to dishonour them. Besides, it's not like they had to literally throw them away; they could donate them to a library or something.
It was a very frustrating episode, and to think that I was actually excited at first, because this woman reminded me of my mum. She also doesn't ever let go of things. And I wanted to see what made this woman change... but it seemed that she just suddenly woke up one morning having realised that she should let stuff go, and she did. Not very convincing, I feel like I missed something.

The woman keep saying that she is willing to tidy up and change but she always wants to keep everything. I hate it.

Am I the only one who thinks the client kinda 》have《 to accept the process no matter what? Like, for continuity purposes of the show? This time it seems like the mother was forced to say that, since it was very suddenly.

That guy is a SAINT! He deserves an award for putting up with that woman! Seriously, why did you enroll for this process if you're not willing to truly commit?? If you just wanted Marie to organize all the stuff you have then HIRE A FREAKING MAID! UGH! This episode made me lose it.

Why having so much? this time I was shocked with the amount of toys and was like this could be in a school for many many children, not just 2 small ones.I think if u can provide kids with stuff is awesome, but well, u can always give it to another person when ur kids gave up on it. Anyway, I think that's why these people are called hoarders, right?

The mother is an accumulator, and it is terrible to live with someone like that.

Honestly? The husband is a hero to have put up with a hoarder like her. I could not believe how much crap she kept that didn’t even fit her or didn’t spark any joy. Or how she kept all their kids’ clothes and toys. And went through the book piles ready for donation AGAIN.

I think Marie should have brought a priest to exorcise the spirit of materialism from that house and/or the wife. Interesting how little Marie was present, too. Compare this with other episodes - maybe that was a challenge even too stressful for her?
