The most terrifying thing about radiation is you can't see it or feel it, but it's everywhere!
But these 3 brave men Alexei Ananenko, Valeri Bezpalov and Boris Baranov charged right into the most deadliest, horrific place we could possibly imagine. The amount of lives they saved is just way too many!
In April of 2018, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko presented state awards to Alexey Ananenko and Valery Bespalov for their bravery, and posthumously to Boris Baranov(who had died in 2005).
PS: if you guys have any more information or if this post needs a correction, please go ahead. :)

HBO is pure perfection. Love this miniseries. HBO sets the bar for all other tv networks.

The first two episodes are maybe the scariest two hours I've ever watched. Heck with horror of sci-fi films. This all actually happened. Absolutely bone-chilling and mortifying. It's a must watch about one of worst man-made incidents in human history.

'I prefer my opinion to yours,' said the shoe salesman to the nuclear physicist.

What a great show this is turning out to be.

True horror. No need for jump scares and supernatural elements. This right here.

That last scene in episode 2 was some of the best tension building I've seen in TV. There was no gore, no monster, no killer, just the horrid situation those 3 men were put into. This mini series is just absolutely incredible.
