For me the best episode in the series. Very emotional and realistic how this part of history is told. I can't imagine coming closer to the emotions they went through while watching it on tv.

This episode is definitely the most emotional in the series. There's almost no action, and after about fifteen minutes you wonder if the episode will be boring and if something is going to happen or not. The moment the soldiers exit the forest and you see the fences of the camp you already know what they find, and a part of you doesn't want to see, but you have to see it all. Just like the soldiers did back then, and the German people of the village. You have to watch, and no one wants to, but you cannot not.

Before the discovering of the concentration camps, you consider the Germans as bad guys, but you consider them human, they didn't have a choice in anything. But those camps? The person who invented them and everyone who was somehow involved in them are (were) horrible people. It's horrible that people can be this way.

Back to the episode, the emotion is probably best shown when Liebgott was crying after he had to tell the prisoners they had to stay in the camp a little while longer.

Fantastic acting, very moving episode. 10/10

Why We Fight é realista, marcante e sincero. Emocionante! Impossível não chorar.

If Band of Brothets provided so many frantic scenes and dynamic fighters in front of the battlefield, Why We Fight shows the most intense, raw, heartfelt and exciting scene that series has dared to have shown. The sequencing of Easy Company finding the Nazi concentration camp in Landsberg, seeing those Jews suffering and derives from death sparked a whole sense of pain and shame on the part of the viewer. There was no need for dialogues and texts to express the scenario that was there, but only sufficed the moment the Jew embraced and kissed one of the combatants, to reveal all the negative and heavy load of one of the most cruel and shocking moments spent the Second World War world.

Immune is a word I've been used a lot when to comes to BoB, and does not get the same immune in front of moments like this, moments that paved one of the worst scenarios of history. Can not help but get emotional, cry, or be devastated. The saddest thing is still to know that not only were the Jews who were taken as targets, but thousands of ethnic minorities as well.

When we bring this historical fragment to our reality, we have no idea of ??the suffering that these people have gone on the skin, even though we have a mechanism of emotions that awakens an inner cry for the pain they experienced. In this context, seeing this sum so horrendous and cruel events, we see that we are ungrateful and hypocritical for not knowing cherish life and the resources we have today, in an age of indulgence and easy borders, where we posted comments futile on the Internet and complained our own pampered lives. Later in the day, we are ungrateful, but we should be relieved that it was not us who experienced such events.

Why We Fight shows a fragment of what was our story recently, revealing fears and demons of the time. Why We Fight is realistic, striking and sincere. Exciting! Impossible not to cry.

The saddest episode, I cried so much oh god why men are so cruel?
Still, I loved the actors because they didn't get so emotional, they were "cold", shocked.
This series is amazing, sad, true.
Bravo to the cast and the directors, now it's time for the finale.
Obv I will cry

My God what a great episode this! Full of sadness and loss but at least some good came out of it. Those camps are definitely one of the worst things of that awful war!

Without a doubt, this was the best episode of the series. The scene showing the concentration camp is chilling and sad either. Episode very well directed.

To be a series of 2001 (I repeat, 2001, 15 years ago) the special effects, the weapons, the wounds, the corpses are really realistic, I was impressed. One of the most beautiful series ever seen and this is one of the best and most tearful episodes, especially because they are really happened. All with a sublime interpretation of the characters

the part in which people from the camp start approaching the soldiers, one guy carrying his father in his arms said "people, please help us, he's STILL alive, help" ...
such a harrowing scene and the mere fact he spoke in my language hit me out of nowhere
