This episode was incredibly sweet.

Andy visiting his old mentor was a really nice touch to the pre-finale of season one. I think it was necessary for Ephram to see that, to know what his dad gave up for them. To know how great his dad is in some areas of his life. He needed to find that kind of respect for his dad to keep making good progress in their father-son relationship. It was so necessary for Andy to tell him why he decided to live there in the first place. Not only was it a great bonding moment, now he has a piece of his mom in Everwood that he didn't know he had. Just so sweet.

I loved the trio's scenes. Amy, Bright and Colin could fool around like they probably used to before the accident. For the first time I actually shipped Amy and Colin together, because honestly how can I not. I'm starting to like Colin, I hope he makes it.

This was a great episode summing up the past year in their lives, symbolizing how significant everyone has become to each other.

Also, let's not forget how cool and understanding Harold was about the kids escaping their home in the middle of the night.

Just, this was an all around sweet episode! I don't know how this show doesn't have more seasons and how it isn't praised more. Early 2000s quality of television rocks!🏆
