Hi Kelpheron, I can confirm that Objects In Space is the finale. I have the DVD which has the intended order of the episodes on the show. I hope this helps.

February 2015

Nope. The Message is space can not be the final episode. If you have seen Done the Impossible it is stated that was the episode being filmed when they found out they got canceled. That may have been the last episode filmed to air possibly but is not the final in correct running order.

The DVD states Objects In Space is the final episode. Although, thanks for your input, Jacob.

March 2015

Don't forget to watch the movie after finishing the television series!

August 2015

I confirm Objects In Space is the last episode

September 2015

What a mess !!! How could they have released "Serenity" (the episode not the movie) after 10 episodes when this episode is clearly the pilot ? It's crazy ! Shame on you, Fox. If you would have killed this show, you'd done it right.
I started this show just few hours ago on Netflix and thought the french translation on thetvdb.com was wrong as the episodes names dind't matched the episodes' content when I marked them as "Seen". Now I understand... :(

October 2015

Yes, This is the intended order. But don't blame TvShowTime for having them up differently, they are just following the release date order. So blame FOX instead!

October 2015

wow, what a mess 😂 I still think I'll watch it, so thank you for the advice!

November 2015

Isn't Serenity the film though? I'm confused 😂😂

December 2015

@merturiscanon Yes, Serenity it is the film name and also the series pilot name.

April 2016

Serenity the movie ends the serie for us browncoats!! ♡

August 2016

Yes you are right. Also when i realize it i checked from imdb. And imdb is also wrong.

September 2016

Just watched the whole series for the first time. Started with the movie and then with the wrong order oh man....

November 2016

Dude, seriously, i won't even
think in trying to watch this anymore, wrong episodes order? Seriously?

December 2016

Just started watching on Netflix and it's in this order. Watched the first episode (Serenity) and noticed it's episode 11 on TVShowtime was confused so thought I would have a look here to see if Netflix had it wrong thanks for clearing it up. It's so annoying when they mess about with the order of the episodes on shows.

February 2017

Is the first episode suppose to be an hour and a half?

February 2017

ruby321 Yes. And to be honest, it is my least favorite episode. But you gotta watch it to really know what is going on down the road. I love this show so much.

February 2017

HogCall thank you! Already started watching it. Liking it so far

January 2015

One of the best shows of all time. A little ahead of it's time, though. If it were to be aired today, it would be most successful.

I don't agree it was the time that burried the show. It was more the fault of it's time-slot and stupidity of the Fox executives that burried it.

Fox, you can't stop the signal.

I can't even begin to describe the awesomeness. And the sadness and anger that the show ended too too early with only a single season.
It is one of the best space TV series I ever saw.
The cast was also incredible and their acting superb.
And the story just amazing with equal amount of everything that can possible come with a space drama.
Just wish there were more seasons, cause there was definitely more story to tell.

E magari ulteriori stagioni! 😍

Fabulous! shame that they do not have guessed the right time of airing :( if she had been born 10 years later, he had the success he deserved! And maybe more seasons! ?

I do not know what to say. It's the most amazing sci-fi show I ever saw. The plot, the characters, the ships *broke in thousand and thousand pieces*, the film locations, the action, the thousands of feels... Everything is just perfect . I can't believe this everything is already finish, so simply. And the movie Serenity is the most beautiful painful film I ever saw. It's all perfect.
Now I'm empty. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO PUSH AHEAD AFTER THIS SERIES FINALE? HOW??
There are no words to express all this.. Maybe, just "Take my love. Take my land. Take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me.

This series being cancelled is like meeting your first love, your soulmate. Everything is going well, beyond your wildest dreams. It's almost two good to be true...it's like yes my love, we're going to consummate this thing... then suddenly she's not there anymore. She just isn't...she dies on the way to your honeymoon 😢😭. Well maybe not, but it's pretty damn close 😧😥. The show will always live on in memory, in our hearts and minds...we'll move on, some might get over it...make a clean break, but others will forever mourn the loss of Firefly...sweet Serenity.

You can't take the sky from me....🎵🎶🎻🎸

Splendide saison.

Splendid season. Funny, engaging, exciting, very well fitted on top of that. I will have to stop hoping the realization of new projects Mr. Whedon about his cursed series.
