After watching the first few episodes of Tourchwood, the main thing that keeps hitting me is how much Jack loved Rose and the Doctor and how alone he feels now. In reference to Doctor Who we always hear how much Rose and the Doctor loved each other but we don't hear about Jack being included in that love. He was. They loved him and he loved them. Maybe they didn't love him as much as they loved each other, but they did love him and he loved them.

"Transplant my brain into your body. The two of us - Together, fused. We'll be one complete person. Isn't that what love is?"

What a disgusting fetish!

Poor Ianto, he's my fav. And he's right, not one of the others ever showed him the slightest bit of consideration, he was always in the background keeping everything running (and clean) and never appreciated for it.

Da quando lavora al Torchwood, Gwen passa il tempo a cornificare il fidanzato 😑. La mia antipatia nei suoi confronti aumenta!!!

Was I the only one who found this episode sexist? Not all cybermen are men! But no one has boots and boobs!?!?!?!

I really disliked this episode, but then again, I never learned to like the Cybermen in Doctor Who either so.. It started good with the Japanese science dude, but escalated to a bad Frankenstein plot. I didn't feel any sympathy for Ianto at all, seems like the writer tried really hard to make the audience feel sorry for him, but it just didn't work..! I actually hoped for Jack to shoot him.. >_>

Science fiction at its best. Interesting episode with Iantos girlfriend almost converted into a cyberman (doctor who The Canary Wharf Battle). My only question is how the rest of Torchwood had no idea that he had a modified Cyberman conversion alcove inside of Torchwood without them even being any wiser? Oh well

I'm sorry for Ianto, but Jack was absolutely right. Lisa was no longer the same as before, there was nothing left of human. Much as it was a difficult decision to make, it was right to kill her before she tried to recreate Cyberuomini's army.
