- Agent Lee, let's be honest... Those glasses are for old dudes, please.
- I still haven't figured if the shapeshifters are connected with the observers, now everything is ever more confusing.
- Now that Peter knows Walternative is not an enemy, maybe the two universes will find a way to cooperate!
- Well of course now Olivia has to die!! Why???

This alternate future is a little bit tired! If it was not for Olivia and Lee, who try to help Peter, I almost would jump bets!

How cool was it to finally see the two Lincolns meet? It was definitely worth the wait and their antagonistic reaction towards each other was very reminiscent of the Olivia/AltLivia dynamic. Loved the scene where they both sized each other up during their meeting at the pier. "You're Agent Lee, I presume." The continued verbal lobs against each other were very amusing throughout the episode.

"We came all this way to kill two Fringe agents. That's brilliant. No wonder you're a detective."

"It's a maintenance closet."
"That's very astute. No wonder you're a detective."

LOL. We can all agree that both Lincolns are pretty sarcastic.

Peter trying hard to figure out a way to get back to his timeline didn't really to much in this episode, but at least he somewhat will able to provide essential information about the shapeshifters to our universe. Olivia was wrong in his suspicion that Walternate was responsible for sending the shapeshifters to her world. Instead, it's actually AltDavid Robert Jones and AltBroyles with help from AltBrandon, all of whom are shapeshifters. Whaaaat?!

Or maybe it's just AltBroyles and AltBrandon who are shapeshifters and AltDRJ is the one responsible for making these new prototypes. Such a trip to see DRJ again because he was such a great villain in season one. Are we supposed to assume that it's possible this is the DRJ from our timeline and not his alternate version? It looked like his skin was deteriorating, the same condition that DRJ had before he crossed over to the alternate universe. Was he successful in crossing over in this timeline?

I just hope that AltLivia and AltLincoln will be alright when they get to DRJ's shapeshifter lab. Can't believe AltBroyles is a shapeshifter. I do wonder when he became one. I'm surprised that Walternate really isn't behind this like Olivia thought. It feels like I'm watching this season with fresh eyes because I barely remember most of these storylines. 🤔

Kinda sucky that Olivia and Lincoln planned to get information about the shapeshifters once Lincoln and Peter infiltrate the DOD despite telling Peter that their mission will be to help him. Poor Peter. At least he's not taking this personally and totally understands why Olivia planned this. Him saying that the fight with the shapeshifters is not his fight...come on, Peter. Be a team player (even though the majority of the people in this timeline are not, lol.)

And now that last scene. I'm speechless. How can this show expect its viewers to not freak out after that scene?! Olivia has to die? Very ominous how September delivered that message: "I came to tell you...I have looked at all possible futures...and in every one, the result is the same. You have to die." What does it all mean?? In the previous episode Olivia is gassed and gets her blood drawn from her by Nina's men. And in this episode, she gets told she has to die. Girl just can't catch a break.

Other random thoughts and observations:

- Lincoln visiting Olivia and bringing her soup because she wasn't feeling well was very sweet. Also sweet was Olivia fixing Lincoln's hair after he "transformed" into AltLincoln.

- Loved Lincoln's reaction when he saw the Twin Towers still standing in the alternate universe.

- It was great to see Orla Brady reprise her role as Elizabeth and it was very touching how she knew right away who Peter was just by his eyes. I've always enjoyed Peter and Elizabeth's scenes.

- "So in the other universe, I'm a nut job."
