It's just me or September said that the previous timeline was wrong and this one is there right one?!? In my opinion Peter have to calm down and understand that this is his home.

How is Nina still alive when the other one's a shapeshifter?(didn't like her anyway)
What's up with Jones testing Olivia with that lightbulb stuff? For what??!
And idk if that's already peter's "home" or not cause idk what another timeline really means... so many questions.

Enfin un épisode qui fournit plus d'explications que d'interrogations.

La fin était particulièrement jubilatoire.

Finally an episode that provides more explanations of questions.

The end was especially jubilant.

Okay, show, you got me there with the Nina switch. I kinda figured that the Nina with Olivia is not the real Nina, but a shapeshifter while she was trying to tell Olivia memories of their time together. Olivia figured it out at the same time that the story Nina made up was not true, but the reveal was still shocking when Nina got up from the gurney to tell Jones about Peter's importance.

Now the question is, is the Nina in FBI custody the real Nina or another shapeshifter? Isn't it standard procedure for shapeshifters to kill the person whose identity they were going to assume? Is the real Nina dead? Oh my, if this is the case, Olivia will be pissed as hell.

Even then, there might be more pressing issues concerning Olivia's relationship with Peter for now. Thanks to Peter's mind-meld with September (or Mr. X as Walter and Astrid named him on the monitor), Peter has retreated and is going to stay away from this Olivia because he needs to get back to his timeline and to his Olivia.

Olivia's look of confusion and heartbreak was too hard to watch. These two just can't seem to catch a break. Peter said that he won't make the same mistake again just like he did with AltLivia, but what if this really is his timeline just altered a little bit and that Olivia regaining her memories is just this timeline and universe course-correcting itself after Peter showed back in it? I'm going to stop theorizing about this because I'm going to get a headache.

I really hope September is not dead and that the other Observers will help him. We got quite a few answers about the Observers' origins in this episode: they are a group of scientists generations removed from our generation and they are humans that have evolved and who have the ability to travel through time without any limits. ***SPOILER ALERT*** This actually is very reminiscent of the movie Arrival and the events in it. Very cool.

Loved the callback to that great season one episode called Ability where Jones forces Olivia to manifest her abilities by telling her to turn off the lights or else a bomb would go off. In retrospect, Olivia was only able to turn off the lights after Peter came back and was standing behind her. Apparently her abilities manifest themselves a lot faster and better when Peter is around.

I don't like this, that Olivia has to be dependent on a man, Peter, in order for her powers to activate, but I'll let it slide because I'm sure this is the writers' way of telling us that Peter and Olivia are better together than apart and that they both make each other stronger. This doesn't mean that Olivia is less of a person if Peter is not around. Their love is what binds them and to get through the craziness of the world that they live in. If they have that love, they can get through anything, cheesy as that sounds.

September showing up in the lab unexpectedly and seeing everyone's reactions was a great moment as was September vanishing out of thin air just as quickly as he appeared. I cracked up at Lincoln saying "A dying man suddenly vanishes in front of our eyes and the thing you're wondering is, 'What happened to the table'?" after Astrid's comment when September vanished.

So Peter now knows that he had a son in his timeline and that he was blinked from existence when Peter disappeared from this timeline. I thought his reaction was very sweet and he looked so sad when he realized that his son never existed. September saying that Henry was born to the wrong Olivia Dunham and that he did everything he could to correct this and that the only way was for Peter to never have existed...oh my. Can you imagine being told that? It's a wonder Peter was still able to function well after all the information he gleaned from September.

Other random thoughts and observations:

- How cool was it to see Olivia using her powers to electrocute one of Jones' men? That was pretty badass. Olivia has telekinetic powers and it is awesome. My superhero.

- What did Jones mean when he said that whatever Olivia knows about her abilities, that she is capable of something far greater? And if he has the ability to travel between universes using that portal, why then would he still need Olivia? I originally thought he only needed her to be able to move within universes.

- Why did no one suspect that Nina might be a shapeshifter? Also, why did no one alert the Fringe team on the other side to look out for disturbances in the environment just in case Jones goes back over there?

- Jones is immortal, it seems, or at least invulnerable to bullets. Olivia shoots him right in the neck and he only blinks and smirks.
