Encore un très bon épisode.
Le final avec tous ces monstres, j'adore. ♡ J'espère qu'il y aura une suite.

19 épisodes avant la fin de la série. :'(

Still a very good episode.
The end with all these monsters, I love. ? I hope there will be a sequel.

19 episodes before the end of the series. '(

Agora da pra ver claramente a sobreposição dos universos, e como Jones manipulava quase Td que veio ocorrendo desde o início com aquelas criaturas...

This episode felt like an episode from earlier seasons where we see the entire team working on a case just with the addition of Lincoln and I liked it very much. Sometimes, the show needs to have episodes like this slowing down the mytharc just a tad, but still peppering important bits of info to that arc within the episode. I thought this was well-done.

Loved the callback to the pilot (I have really enjoyed the callbacks in this season to earlier seasons) episode and I'm left wondering if the show re-shot that entire sequence or they just aired the same footage from the pilot. The twist is that Bowman doesn't transform and the plane doesn't crash, but he does end up transforming at the airport killing two TSA agents before he himself winds up dead.

So these people who are allowing (we're assuming) Jones to experiment on them because they believe that this is the path to create better human beings. Did I hear that right? I wasn't really paying full attention in regards to the team's discussion about this. I also heard Walter saying something about Jones playing God (seems like every scientist we've met on this show has a tendency to do that) or something to that effect.

The ending was a shock with that guy housing male and female versions of all kinds of weird genetically-modified creatures/monsters and it's revealed that they're all aboard some kind of ship. Shades of Noah's Ark, yes? Is Jones' plan to eradicate humans in both universes and use these creatures to start life anew? Kinda like when God destroyed everything on Earth and flooded everything by letting it rain straight for 40 days and 40 nights to wipe out the evilness in the world and the ones that survived are aboard Noah's ark. I honestly don't know what's going on with this plot or where it's heading because I don't remember much from season four. 😄

At first I was a little annoyed that it looked like Olivia won't be in the episode much so I was thrilled that she didn't listen to Broyles and instead join Lincoln and Peter at Daniel Hicks' place. I loved the guilty look on his face combined with this pleading puppy look on her face that she let Lincoln see. It was adorable. Even more adorable is how she looked in her black beanie with her hair swept to one side. Torv, how are you so perfect? 🤗😍

Broyles benching Olivia was reasonable since the psychiatrist said that this Olivia only got 60% of the information correct that the old Olivia was supposed to know. I would have done the same thing if I was in his position. Their last scene was very good with Olivia expecting a scolding, but getting something else. "If you're 60% of the Olivia I knew, you're still better than 90% of the agents I've ever worked with. And a Fringe Division with an Olivia Dunham is better than a Fringe Division without her." Fuck yeah.

I liked how Peter and Lincoln addressed the elephant in the room that this Olivia is Peter's Olivia and with that, it's silently acknowledged by both that Lincoln will back off Olivia. Poor Lincoln. I also got a bit sad for him when he referenced a conversation he had with the old Olivia in an earlier episode and she doesn't remember it at all. He's a good guy and deserves someone as awesome as Olivia.

Lincoln feeling a bit out of place in the lab when Walter remarked something about having a family while watching Peter, Olivia, and Astrid working on the case made me feel sad for him again. But, I think, with this episode, he has been officially adopted into the Fringe family because he has been infected by a Fringe event and that comes standard with this group. The only thing that was missing was him not being drugged, although I guess him ingesting that green liquid was close enough.

Walter taking out all the gifts he bought for every year for Peter's birthday was so sweet. I loved his reaction when Peter hugged him. Perfectly played by John Noble, the look of happiness on Walter's face. I laughed so hard at him opening up one of the gifts and it's a copy of Hump magazine. There was actually a shot of Walter coming out of either his bedroom or bathroom holding the same copy of the magazine. He is too much. 😅

Other random thoughts and observations:

- Peter and Olivia going to see Markham in this timeline was a lot of fun. Of course he would hit on Olivia and it cracked me up that Olivia shut him down twice by telling him she's taken, lol.

- Walter calling Astrid "Aphid" is new. I love it.

- I loved everyone's reaction when Broyles showed up at the lab. Peter, who was playing with one of the toys Walter bought for him, hides the toy behind his back. Astrid sits up a little straighter. Walter compliments Broyles' tie and saying it's lovely.

- Curious that in this timeline, Rachel is still married to her dick of a husband and they have two kids. Maybe this version of Rachel's husband isn't a dick after all?

- "I suppose every version of you is stubborn." - Nina to Olivia. LOVED THIS.

- "We have a passenger that is having a hard time." - Understatement of the episode right next to "Weird is a matter of degrees."

- And yet we have another The 100 cast sighting! This time it's Sinclair. So cool seeing all these actors from The 100 show up on this show.
