I'm glad she aged as a character. She was such a dramatic teenager during the first seasons.

I believe that is where the writers are going... In the other hand, Alicia doesn't have any other loves since Will, I hope they don't want us to look at her husband for that

Eli and Alicia make a great team. I hope they give Peter what he deserves.

October 2015

I'm afraid he could convince Alicia to run against Peter

YES, YES, YES! They're back!

That was a very solid season premiere.
This episode was a mix of everything I love about the show:

- Alicia trying to get back on her feet after last season's scandal.
- The eternal fight in court between Alicia and her previous associates: Diane and David Lee ( I think I hate him even more than I hate Canning).
- Grace working for her mom ( so cute). 😁
- Eli and Nora his assistant with the big Afro ( so funny)
- Cary ( even though he was only given 5 minutes).
- Canning ( being himself: the devil)
- The new characters ( I like Lucca, the black lawyer) + The excellent Margo Martindale.

And as always, the good wife writers are great at exposing the inhumanity of the justice system in which Poor people don't have decent representation.
Outrageous situation.

I loved every minutes of the premiere.

Besides, the war between Eli and Peter is gonna be so freaking exciting.

Speaking of Peter: I'm not one to judge him or anything. I even most of the time always try to find some excuses to his asshole behavior but I'm sorry I have to side with Eli on this.
Peter, how disloyal of you. "Firing" Eli because you think he's not good enough to manage a national campaign?!
I mean What the Actual FUCK?

Eli has always been there for Peter since day one. He breathed, ate, slept and had Peter's best interest at heart for years.
And although I kinda understand why Peter needs new blood on his team and wants a more seasoned campaign manager for a national election, I found the way handled things with Eli very poorly.
That was a stab in the back and I truly hope Eli destroys him.

All things considered, It shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us knowing Peter's track record when it comes to loyalty.
He cheated on Alicia so why would he be loyal to Eli? Especially when he has the opportunity to get what he's always wanted : more power.
Plus, he's a real politician ( a real political animal), who has proven times and times again how ambitious he is.
So his reaction is definitely "normal" according to his character.

As for Cary, I feel like something is off with him. I know he's probably dealing with the aftermath of Kalinda's exit but I wonder if he's contemplating leaving the firm to join Alicia again?
With Diane and David Lee, I feel like he has no weight in the decision making process.
I really don't feel like he's Diane's partner but more like an employee.
The dynamic he had with Alicia was more genuine and they looked like equal partners.
I think he might regret getting David Lee on board and exiting Alicia. Because with Diane and David, he's outnumbered.
I think Alicia was more of a neutral partner and could easily side with him or Diane when it came to make difficult decisions. WhereasDavid is totally shady.
This firm is the exact replica of Lockhart/Gardner which is total opposition of what Cary wanted in the first place when HE created his firm.
Let's hope that writers give him a better storyline this season. Cary's character has been overlooked too much.

Anyway, This season is gonna be on FIRE.

Ça démarre plus fort que la saison passée, en effet ils ont dû bien repenser le show pour insuffler un nouveau courant dans les Story Line

It starts stronger than last season, in fact they had to rethink much the show to infuse a new current in the Story Line

I really don't understand why everybody is comparing her to Kalinda.
She's not here to replace Kalinda. She's a lawyer not an investigator.
She's a new addition just like Cary Preston (Elsbeth Tascioni) or Mamie Gummer or all the other attorneys were on the show.

The only thing she has in common with Kalinda is the melanin. That's all.
So please people, stop saying nonsense!
Thank you.

Nan mais laisse béton, ils ont vu une fille basanée et ça y est, c'est la remplaçante te Kalinda.
Ah je te jure, les gens et leur imagination.
Heureusement qu'elle n'a pas porté une mini jupe et des bottes noires hein. Lol

Nan but leaves concrete, they saw a dark-skinned girl and that's it, it's the successor you Kalinda.
Oh, I swear, the people and their imagination.
Fortunately she did not wear a mini skirt and black boots huh. Lol

Well it's clear this is surely a strong character but again nothing to do with Kalinda we agree ??

They will fix her hair. When she goes to work for Canning. Her hair is just visual shorthand for Alicia is down in the dumps right now.

October 2015

Oh the hair pieces were driving me nuts in this episode. I think Peter had one too. Alicia wig has usually been undetectable.
