A group of Autobots manage to get the key back after Scourge opens the chamber, but it's energy accidentally sends them to Nebulos, a world locked in civil war between the evil Hive (controlled by Lord Zarak) and rebels that despise machines. The Decepticons pursue the Autobots there and they all get involved in the war.
