During a failed heist, Gabriel and Raphaël, two Sunday robbers, flee by accidentally taking hostage Paloma, an 8-year-old girl. Michel, an experienced cop, makes a point of arresting the two men and recovering the girl. Very quickly Gabriel and Raphaël discover that the little girl is not alone. Paco, her imaginary "friend", accompanies her and protects her against a heavy secret... Paloma is a child beaten by her parents. They now have a choice: return the little girl to these executioners and be bastards, or keep her with them and pass for bastards.
