The Umbrella Academy (No. 2) has been dethroned! Supernatural teen series, The Order, is the latest show to climb its way to No. 1 with 2.56% of binge sessions. Netflix continues to be a powerhouse as the streaming service rounds out our top three positions with its latest entry, Love, Death & Robots. Season 1 of the sci-fi series dropped on March 15th, giving bingers the weekend to take full advantage of the 18-episode anthology.
Despite Netflix leading the report, it’s network and cable programming that dominate this week. A number of fan-favorites like Friends (No. 4), Grey’s Anatomy (No. 5), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (No. 6), and Riverdale (No. 7) never cease as report staples, but it’s HBO’s Game of Thrones that’s having a comeback. While the show maintains its eighth place position, its binge sessions have grown to 1.52%.
Can the long-awaited premiere of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists make a dent in the report? Will Season 2 of The OA replicate its earlier success? Next Tuesday we will tell all!
DID YOU KNOW? Love, Death & Robots is off to a good start. On top of making its binge report debut, the series also landed the No. 1 position on this week’s “Shows on the Rise” report, but if it has legs remains to be seen.
*The weekly Binge Report ranks shows with the most binge sessions. A binge session is when four or more episodes of a show are watched and tracked in our TV Time app within a given day.
