Hin, the son of a former thug in rural Thailand, is well-respected for helping his community. Kaew, the mayor's daughter and Hin's childhood friend, returns from Bangkok with a negative view of him due to her brother's lies. Despite their estrangement, Hin falls for Kaew, who initially despises him.
