The film revolves around a social fantasy about a five-pound banknote that has grown tired of the life of the safe in which its miserly owner keeps it. It escapes to where a poor sweeper finds it, then passes from one hand to another until it reaches the hand of the young man Mustaqim, making him happy. However, it becomes too tight to be imprisoned in his wallet, so it yearns for a life of freedom once again.
