In 1938 Phra Nakhon, Thailand, Prissana returns from 12 years in America. The youngest of four sisters, she stands out with her American charm and beauty, attracting many suitors, including Praweet, whom her sister Anong loves. Prissana is uninterested in them and dislikes Taan Chai Puthpreecha, due to his high status. As they get to know each other, they both reassess their initial judgments.
