Krystal Jung

Krystal was born Soo Jung in San Francisco, California, and her American name is Crystal Jung, where her family settled in the 1980s. She is the younger sister of Jessica Jung, a singer and former member of Girls' Generation. In 2000, when she was 5 years old, her family settled in South Korea and she and her sister auditioned for SM Entertainment and were accepted and trained until Jessica debuted in Girls' Generation in 2007 and Krystal debuted in f(x) in 2009. Krystal completed her studies in South Korea and graduated from Sungkyunkwan University, Department of Film and Theater.
