Justus Ebermann lives in a senior residence and is known there as a difficult character. He shows little sympathy for his fellow human beings and is a real troublemaker. Even when he visits his daughter, he shows that he has no understanding of their financial problems. Although he has enough money and could help her, he strictly refuses to lend her anything.
