Documentary - (The interviewer is an Asian male director, Shohei Imamura.) Interview with Kikuyo Zendo, a 73 year-old, Japanese, trafficked-in-1921, prostitute (karayuki-san) who spent the longer part of her life outside Japan in Malaysia. She discusses her sex work career and marriages. In the 1970s she lives in poverty with her family. The Buraku Liberation League bring her back to Japan.
