19th Century Japan, as the country transitions into the modern age, a man tries to reconnect with nature whilst tilling the land with his ox. The film portrays the relationship between a human and an ox, and is inspired by the Ten Oxherding Pictures in the Zen Buddhism. A visual delight shot in 35mm b/w and 65mm color.
