Several drug shipments are intercepted by police from Mexico and the United States. The trafficker Armando orders a subordinate Mario to look for Camelia La Texana to save the situation. Mario arrives as a charro to Jalisco, where Camelia calls herself María and owns a cantina. There Mario provokes the chief and his henchmen. Camelia falls in love with him and the chief orders them to be murdered, but Camelia intervenes and the henchmen only beat Mario. They both forgive the crying chieftain, marry, and go to the United States. She is disappointed to find out what Mario really wanted and sets conditions to direct the smuggling. Mario is killed by Don Carlos's rival gang, whose lover Eva wishes to take revenge on Camelia for having taken Emilio Varela from him, but Camelia eliminates both in a shootout and is in turn killed by the police.
