In 1911, Stáňa Járský gave music lessons to little Jiřinka Horníková and fell passionately in love with his pupil's mother. The evening before he left for studies, Mrs. Helena succumbed to him. After nine years, engineer Járský met the grown-up Jiřina in Prague - and again he met love. Even this time, however, he did not wish him luck, the girl had to save the family factory by an advantageous marriage. After another nineteen years, CEO Járský returns home after a long stay abroad. It has grayish chests, but it is still charming and elegant. How will the meeting with the young Helenka, granddaughter and daughter of his former loves turn out?
