Joji swore that he would live properly after being touched by "Leaving Nankoku Tosa" that he heard in the prison. After being released, he returns to his hometown of Kochi, but after being robbed of his girlfriend Harue, he is unable to find a job and returns to Tokyo. So he challenges the dice game that once rang his arm to save Harue.
