It is set in Lima in 1989, the end of a decade marked by political instability, severe economic crisis due to hyperinflation and terrorist violence. Three stories intersect, whose protagonists belong to three different generations. One of them is that of Lizandro and Cucha, an elderly couple who have lost their only child. The other story is that of Humberto, a successful radio host of a program that gives people hope and finally, the story of the blind grandmother, who lives with her grandchildren, whom she exploits and mistreats.
