Istanbul is under occupation by enemies. A group of national fighters try to support the liberation movement in Anatolia from Istanbul. Kemal, who had previously lived in England for a while, is assigned to provide intelligence. Kemal replaces a newly appointed British officer in Istanbul. He falls in love with Elizabeth, the daughter of the British general he meets while spying.
