After denouncing colleagues following a blunder, Malik Dahmani, a brilliant but fiery police captain from the Paris region, is forced to go outdoors in the Cévennes, to be forgotten. But stuck in this Cévennes valley that is too peaceful for his taste, as if time had stopped... Malik goes around in circles and only thinks about going home. It is then that a corpse is discovered in the forest.
