Assistant director Xu Xu and extra Xiao Zha impersonate renowned filmmaker Hu Youfu to secure funding from investor Wei Er. Though Wei sees through their deception, he plays along as the motley crew embarks on a film shoot. Unbeknownst to them, crime ringleader Big K infiltrates the production. When imposters collide with criminals, the absurd journey culminates in chaotic confrontations that expose all hidden agendas.
