A prince falls in love with an actress nicknamed Princess Czardas. His parents demand that he marry his cousin. A coincidence makes the actress pass for a great lady and she thus attends the engagement party of the prince she loves. Imbroglios, misunderstandings and twists and turns animate the evening.
