Mixed-breed dog Willy Wuff is on his way to Munich. To do so, he has cheated his way onto a train and has to be careful not to be discovered by the train staff. When he arrives in Munich, it is not so easy for Willy Wuff to make friends. On the contrary: posters and newspapers warn of dog catchers, a veritable mafia, and Willy can't really find anything to eat either! Luckily, he meets Natalie Brunner, who had already met him on the train on his journey and who also knows that he can talk. But she is reluctant to take Willy home because they already have a dog. "Lord" is a borzoi of true nobility, but also just as conceited. Willy has to be careful that Lord doesn't betray him. But he has nothing to fear from Natalie, on the contrary, she gives him plenty to eat and keeps him warm.
