Clara is a teacher in a small country in the interior and receives a new student. Margarida has just lost her mother, a victim of domestic violence, and went to live with her aunt, who is married, has two children and works in her in-laws' cafe. The teacher is not indifferent to the student's absences and sadness, who finally asks her for help. Is Margarida being a victim or witnessing, once again, some kind of violence? Does the trauma of witnessing her mother's murder now prevent her from distinguishing reality from fear?
