Pierre Charmières, twenty-four years old, is a timid and a little stuck up young Bordeaux bourgeois. In Paris, he has a brother whom he does not know, but whom he secretly admires. He decides to "go up" to the capital to meet him. And there, surprise, his brother is a sister.
